Mardelle has a highly active lifestyle and is happily married to Don. Together they raise their two teenaged boys, Joel and Theo. She enjoys skiing, hiking and backpacking in the National Parks.

Food is also an open book - she loves organic, biodynamic, gourmet and slow foods. Her backyard is landscaped with 80 tons of rundle stone, and is in a process of constant evolving beauty. After gardening with herbs and all sorts of flowers, you may find her grabbing a moment in the always inviting hammock. Mardelle also manages to squeeze in some Aquasize instruction, LifeGuarding or a morning pedal class to her days.

Massaging since 1985, Mardelle has studied many courses in different modalities to enhance her knowledge. Reflexology, Raindrop therapy (Young Living Oils), Pre- and Postnatal Massage, Doula (Labour Support), Hot Rock Massage and Bowen Therapy. Mardelle has worked independently as well as with the Centre for Family Well Being. Since 1995 she has specialized in pregnancy massage and Doula work.
